Bias binding, or bias tape,  – WHAT IS IT

It is a strip of fabric cut as a 45 degree angle to the grain of the fabric giving it a natural stretch and pliability that allows it to confirm to curves and straight edges.

It’s used to finish raw edges on garments like necklines and armholes, and on craft projects such as quilts and potholders, to provide a stable, neat, and durable edge. It can be purchased pre-made in various widths and materials.
