These terms and conditions outline the use of the Lyn’s Fine Needlework e-commerce store, and the purchase of any goods from it. Please read them carefully.

By accessing, browsing or using this website you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Lyn’s Fine Needlework reserves the right to amend or update the terms and conditions at any time without providing notice to you.

Prices
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. While we endeavour to ensure that prices on the web pages are current and correct we reserve the right to correct errors and to change prices without notice. Postage and handling costs will be added to all orders unless specifically indicated to the contrary.
Placing orders
Orders will not be despatched until payment in full has been received. You agree to provide Lyn’s Fine Needlework with current, complete and accurate information (including your name, address, phone number email address and credit card number (where applicable)) when placing an order. Should you enter the wrong address, we will not re-send the order to the correct address at our expense.
Placing an order via our e-commerce store you are enter into an agreement with us. We will email you an order confirmation for the purpose of confirming the details of your offer. Please note that our order confirmation does not constitute an acceptance of your offer.
Sale Items
From time to time we will add items to our “Sales” section. Prices are final and no additional discounts apply. This includes but not limited to, any and discount codes.

Cancelling orders
We reserve the right to cancel orders at our sole discretion at any time. In those circumstances, we will not be held liable for any loss or damage incurred by you arising out of in connection with the exercise of these rights.
Non Stock Item Policy
We are prepared to obtain a non-stocked item as a special request from a customer provided payment is received prior to our ordering.
Any shipping fees from the supplier will also be forwarded on to the customer should this be the only item ordered.
Such orders cannot be cancelled and the good cannot be returned unless proved faulty. We reserve the right to withdraw any item from sale without notice.
Delivery
We will provide you with an estimated date for delivery of all goods. Whilst we make every effort to deliver by this time, all dates specified are estimates only. If an order does not arrive by the due date, we will lodge enquiries with the courier to ensure that delivery occurs as soon as possible.
We will not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from late delivery. You acknowledge and agree that late delivery does not constitute a breach by us of our agreement and does not entitle you to cancel an order.
Please note that if an item has been lost in transit, we will not despatch a replacement item or refund if you have chosen regular or express post. We will place an enquiry with Australia Post and they may choose to offer compensation at their discretion. We highly recommend registered post, please contact us for more information.
Should you wish to pay for registered post all order deliveries are covered by full replacement cost through the Australia Post system. We will refund in full if an order is lost in transit where registered post is chosen. Refund will be forwarded once the claim is approved and paid for by Australia Post.
We will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from items lost, stolen or damaged after delivery has taken place.
Shipping (international)
We will mail to almost any country in the world but delivery transit times are beyond our control. We will not accept liability for late or non delivery.
If you are concerned about, or have a history of , loss of mail items we strongly recommend that you instruct us to register and/or insure your items (at your expense) so they can be tracked. Click here for more details.
NB: Postage costs will be charged once your order has been picked and weighed. a separate invoice will be sent, and payment is required prior to your order being sent.
Returns & Refund Policy
Should your goods arrive and are found to be defective or damaged, please contact us within 3 working days of receiving your order. We will organise to send you a delivery label to return faulty items. Please return the goods to us within 7 working days of receiving your return label.
We will exchange goods or refund the purchase price where they are proven to be faulty and you are able to provide proof of purchase from Lyn’s Fine Needlework. Goods however will not be accepted for return, for whatever reason, without prior discussion and authorisation from us.
Goods will NOT be accepted for return where you have simply ordered too much OR changed your mind

Privacy Policy
We respect the privacy of our customers and will not divulge your details to any other organisation. We are subject to the Australian Privacy Laws. We will use your details in the conduct our all business transactions with you and to send you our email NEWSLETTERS or Product Offers.. If you do not wish to receive these email communications then please advise us and we will delete your email address from our data base.

Special & Indent Orders
We maintain a very large and varied inventory for sale. There are however thousands of other items that are available and used in Patchwork and/or embroidery. As an example there are hundred of books and patterns published that we do not stock in our shop but are available from our wholesalers.
If you have seen an item somewhere else or in a magazine and would like to purchase from Lyn’s then ask us for availability and price. If we are prepared to make this a stoked item we will advise you when it is available.
If we are not prepared to put the item into stock we will still be prepared to order it for you as a SPECIAL or INDENT ITEM – We will order these special items for you but your order cannot be cancelled without our agreement and we require payment with your order.

Colours
The colours on our web site and on your computer or printout can only be a close approximation of the colours of the actual items. There may also be slight colour variations between different production runs of fabrics and threads over which we have no control. These variations in colour between production runs do not constitute a product fault.
Colours will also vary from computer to computer and printer to printer. Colour will also vary depending on the colour bias of the scanner used to capture the image.
While we strive to have our computer colours as close as possible to the actual items we accept no liability that may occur for any of the reasons given above.
Credit Card Fraud
If you attempt to purchase goods though our Internet service with an invalid, stolen, generated or other fraudulent credit card, the details of the transaction along with your information will be turned over to the police and to the Credit Card Fraud Investigation unit of our bank. They in turn will launch an investigation that will lead to your prosecution.
We have information about your internet session that will enable us to help authorities track any unlawful activity, regardless of where you have logged in to the Internet. When you connect to the internet through an ISP, telecommunications company or through a business, log files are created. These include the date, time, your user name and the IP address you were assigned during your connection. During an investigation this information will be disclosed.
