Returns and Exchange
Overview
Should your goods arrive and are found to be defective or damaged, please contact us within 3 working days of receiving your order. We will organise to send you a delivery label to return any and all faulty items.
Please return the goods to us within 7 working days of receiving your return label.
We will exchange goods or refund the purchase price where they are proven to be faulty and you are able to provide proof of purchase from Lyn’s Fine Needlework. Goods however will not be accepted for return, for whatever reason, without prior discussion and authorisation from us.
Goods will NOT be accepted for return where you have simply ordered too much OR changed your mind
PLEASE NOTE:
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase (order number)
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Refunds, credit or exchanges will not be granted if you (the consumers:
- change their minds, decide they do not like the goods or have no use for them (except in cases where other legislation provides for
a ‘cooling off’ period – for example, door-to door sales) - discover you can buy the goods cheaper elsewhere (except where the we provides a guarantee that the goods cannot be purchased cheaper elsewhere)
- examine the goods before buying and ought to have seen any obvious fault
- had the defect drawn to their attention before buying (for instance, when goods were labelled
as seconds, or faults were clearly marked) - damage the goods by using them in a way they were not meant to be used
Items not eligible for a Refund
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.
- Books, Newspapers & Magazines
- Aerosol Glue Sprays
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care items
- Any thread or Ribbon
- Cut Fabrics
- Any / All Sale Items
- Patterns
- Items not in there original packaging or damages packaging
- Shipping costs
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
If approved these types of goods MAY be eligible for partial refund
- Software that has been opened.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an message via our Contact us form
Once approved please send your item to

Shipping returns
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Unit 2, No. 9 Seven Hills Road Baulkham Hills NSW 2153.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item (unless faulty). Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
