Original designs are from Daphne Wearne 1896-1985. (Born in Manilla NSW from Sydney) Mackie as she was called by her family and friends – was known for her beautiful oil paintings and water colours of Australian Wildflowers.
These designs were originally submitted for china plates, but as she also loved needlework, it’s only fitting that they be adapted for traced linen
