Judy Lance

Are you someone who is thinking about starting quilting, or maybe finishing a project you started a while back?

Judy would love to welcome you to join her class and guide you in creating something you’re really proud of and make some friendships along the way!

We often welcome new starters into our groups and people join at all levels- you may come with quilting experience or perhaps not even know how to use a sewing machine. If you’re new to quilting we can help you start with a sampler quilt, and come up with some ideas that will excite you.

After joining you can also work on other projects that spark your interest including bags, cushions and even children’s clothes.

Judy has over 30 years experience teaching patchwork and feels privileged sharing skills, and watching people develop their confidence and abilities with the craft.

Her own projects include designs taken from the Taj Mahal, applique from Williams Morris designs and interpretations of tiles found in fascinating places.

Bronwyn Goldsmith

Bronwyn enjoyed stitching and craft from a young age with her mother and grandmother.

Craft also played a fun part in her Infants teaching career.

In 1981 Bronwyn joined classes with Val Moore, whose wonderful teaching, encouraged Bronwyn’s love of patchwork and quilting. In 1982, Val gathered keen quilters from her classes in the Cherrybrook area and formed Cherrybrook Quilters. Bronwyn joined the group and has been a member ever since, gaining knowledge and inspiration from many quilters and teachers over the years.

Bronwyn enjoys different types of patchwork, especially hand and machine piecing, and machine applique, in both traditional and modern styles.

In 2000 Bronwyn joined the team at Frill Seekers, North Rocks, teaching classes for those who were new to patchwork. Frill Seekers became Quiltlove and classes in bag making and simple embroidery were added.

In 2007 Bronwyn joined the team at Lyn’s Fine Needlework, where classes encourage friendly learning and sharing, with achievable results for each student.

Bronwyn continues to be inspired by the variety of fabrics, patterns and threads available at Lyns Fine Needlwork.

When joining her class you have the flexibility to learn anything your sewing heart desires.
