Lyn’s Fine Needlework is a full-service Patchwork & Needlework retail shop in North Western Sydney and carries a full range of patchwork and embroidery products and accessories many of which are not listed in these pages.

The Shop was originally opened in Winston Hills (an adjoining suburb) in approximately 1985 as Lyn’s Haberdashery & Craft and offered a variety of haberdashery, craft items, classes and workshops centered mainly around patchwork and folk art painting.

Over the years the product range and craft specialisation has changed and evolved to our current concentration on Patchwork and all forms of Embroidery. Of recent date we have also become a major supplier of Latch Hook kits. The shop has traded at a number of locations in Baulkham Hills and moved to the current address in 1997.

I have worked for the business since day 1 and my husband and I acquired the business from ‘Lyn’ in 2000. We made a number of significant improvements including the addition of this web site.

The original website had now been going for over 20 years, and in September 2024 we FINALLY upgraded to a full e-commerce website making it easier and simpler to order from us. We continue to expand our range as we display more of our varied range of patchwork, embroidery & fine needlework products We have tried to make this site easy to navigate and the feedback that we receive indicates to us that you agree. We will continue to make improvements and additions to our site.
